Teacher as an influence in the new millenium

Impact of pedagogy

This is in reference to the not so elite population. Many do not afford a host of experiences, leave alone play about with equipment that would augur well for learning.

Learning has always been defined two fold, one is a directional input with a sense of objectives to be attained and the other is a non interfering, non directional efforts towards choices made for self development.

In countries where not enough resources are made available and aiming towards cost effectiveness, the teacher becomes an inflential pedagogical input gainer. If it is felt imperative to train young minds towards holistic pedagogy instead of teacher pedagogy then its time interventional programs be started in rural communities and the unde5privileged sections, faling which the enire system of Early Childhood Curriculum will be questionable in areas of implementation.

In the world scenario , as it is being witnessed, it is evidential for a greater input towards Teacher Education.

Meta Cognition

In this era of meta vision, going beyond the extra ordinary, where man gets into the discovery mould, of relying on machines including Robotic Science, children of today are becoming young adults with meta effect on their thinking and understanding..

Children and students are clearly  bent towards scientific deveopment. Their computational skllls are speedier than what we can imagine.

The art of pedagogy needs to look into all these factors that contribute towards the meta cognitive processes of learning.

Usage of Applications, usage of smart phones and tablets must be an inclu sive part of learning .  Guidelines from teachers goes a long way.in the right usage. It is a social responsibility, though philosophical schools may refrain from too much of scientific advancement in schools, but out of school , children will definitely be influenced by the surrounding media constantly buzzing around them. Brain fog needs to be checked .

Reading of Rules and Regulations while working online

EVERY APPLICATION DOWNLOADED WILL HAVE CERTAIN IMPLICATIONS. HELP THE STUDENT READ THE USAGE OF DATA, INCLUDING PERSONAL DATA. TECHNOLOGY CREATED CAN CREATE AN AWE BUT IT CAN  MAKE ONE VULNERABLE TOO

What is  vulnerability . ? Vulnerability can be explained to the children as falling prey to the social media with all the yes’s and the number of  likes and dislikes, comments and messages and the distractions of pop up messages as in number of allows and not allowing , number of accessibility to the web.

Information technology also has guidelines to be followed. Rules must be adhered to. It isnt knowledge alone, it is understanding and applying of the mind in alertness and awareness.

BE ASSURED, BE ALERT AND BE AWARE OF FRAUDULENT ACTIVITIES.

Artificial Intelligence

There is a lot that AI can do , it can accomplish a number of tasks that you assign it and program it for your convenience , it can write a document , type in your CV , design it for you.

However you must always remember to note that the answers given are programmed ,feel free to think something even more different from the artificially generated options.

Do not leave your brain behind and lap it all up as though these are wondorous solutions.

Yet one must remember that AI has innumerable uses especially in the medical diagnostic field.

Obsessive compulsive behaviour

Technology can get us into a hooked or a wired behaviour.

one must realise it’s flaws too. Most information is a processed information of the originals, today with AI it is even more likely that information would flow through with ease and the thinking coming from the already fed and processed instruments. Man has been empowered with originality. To preserve that is his right and privilege.

Therefore wise utilisation of technical gadgets would help in navigating our life better.

Learn to say No when it is a must and learn when to say Yes.
